Here's Why Salma Hayek Skipped the Bezos–Sánchez Wedding While Her Billionaire Husband Attended
While some of the world's biggest names gathered in Venice to celebrate Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding, Salma Hayek was making headlines of her own — across the continent, at one of Britain's most iconic music festivals.
Actress Salma Hayek, 58, opted to attend the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, instead of joining her husband, billionaire fashion executive François-Henri Pinault, at the high-profile wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former journalist Lauren Sánchez in Venice, Italy.

Pinault, 63, CEO of luxury conglomerate Kering, was seen boarding a Venetian water taxi on Friday dressed in a sharp tuxedo, en route to the lavish celebration. The guest list included prominent figures such as Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Hayek's absence did not go unnoticed. While her husband mingled with global power players in Italy, the "Frida" star was seen enjoying live music and festivities at Glastonbury alongside a notable group of friends. Her entourage included designer Stella McCartney, model Cara Delevingne, comedian Chelsea Handler, and "Furiosa" actress Anya Taylor-Joy.
Hayek and Pinault have been married since 2009, after meeting in 2006. The couple tied the knot on Valentine's Day in Paris, and Pinault later surprised Hayek with a vow renewal ceremony in Bora Bora in 2018.
Despite their frequent joint appearances at major events, they occasionally pursue separate social schedules, as evidenced this past weekend.
