Orlando Bloom Hints at New Beginning in Cryptic Post After Katy Perry Breakup
Days after news of his split from Katy Perry made headlines, Orlando Bloom has shared a series of reflective social media messages that suggest he's embracing a new chapter in his life.
Orlando Bloom, 48, took to Instagram Stories on June 30, 2025, with a quote attributed to Buddha. The post comes shortly after reports surfaced that Bloom and fiancée Katy Perry had ended their relationship after nine years together.

"Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most," the quote read. Bloom, who shares 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove with Perry and 14-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, followed up with another motivational message.

This time, he quoted the late Japanese Buddhist leader Daisaku Ikeda, saying, "The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next day."

Though the actor has not directly addressed the breakup, the timing and tone of his posts have fueled speculation that the couple has indeed parted ways.
TMZ first broke the news, saying Bloom flew off to Venice to attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding as a single man. "He's the life of the party and he's gonna hit the dance floor hard," one insider said.

Meanwhile, Perry is currently in the midst of her world tour. She did not attend the highly anticipated wedding, but was present in Sanchez's bachelorette party earlier this year.
The couple, who first began dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019, have not made formal public statements about the status of their relationship.
