Ringo Starr's drummer son revealed the collaboration in an interview, and gave fans a snippet of the upcoming rock song days later. Another Beatles member's child, who is also a musician, was not included in the track.

In the caption, he revealed that Sean Ono Lennon (John Lennon's son), James McCartney (Paul McCartney's son), and Shaun Ryder of the band Happy Mondays provided vocals on the track.

Fans reacted to the clip with a flurry of supportive messages, expressing their excitement to hear the full finished product. "Super way cool 😮," one person wrote.

"I'm very excited for this release. All these musicians are incredible in their own right. Sounds sick. This is the collaboration we needed," another expressed. "Make some more music!" a fan exclaimed.

Others, however, noted the absence of one Beatle member's son: Dhani Harrison. "No Dhani?" a viewer asked. "Come on Dhani…jump in there!❤️" another encouraged the musician. Dhani is the only child of late singer George Harrison.

He and another Beatles offspring, who is also a musician, were not involved in "Rip Off." The collaboration was first announced in Zak's interview with The Telegraph, published last Friday, June 13.

When the interviewer mentioned that all Zak needed to complete the project was Dhani, he responded, "No, I don't. Why do I?"
