Henry Cavill's unexpected new look turned heads at the Taormina Film Festival in Italy, where he debuted a longer, curlier hairstyle that sparked mixed reactions from fans.

Henry Cavill graced the Taormina Film Festival red carpet with his fiancée, Natalie Viscuso on June 11, 2025, Wednesday. The "Superman" star wore a classic black tuxedo and bow tie, but it was his noticeably longer, curly hair that drew the most attention.

Fans couldn't help but question the new hairstyle, making their thoughts known on social media. "What's going on with his hair, [sic]" one comment read. "With this hairstyle the only explanation would be that he will be playing in Tarzan movie 🍿😁 [sic]," a netizen said.

The actor, who has been gradually growing out his hair in recent months, appeared in good spirits as he posed alongside Viscuso, who wore a flowing peach satin gown with a draped neckline.

During the event, Cavill took the stage to introduce veteran producer Charles Roven, who was being honored that evening.

The couple, who first made their relationship public in April 2021, tend to keep their private life out of the spotlight. Earlier this year, they welcomed their first child after announcing in April 2024 that they were expecting.
