Dakota Johnson Wears ‘The Wrong Outfit’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

The "Madame Web" star appeared on a recent episode of the show where she and the host made light of an otherwise awkward situation.

Dakota Johnson sat down with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday, June 2. Their segment began with the actress appearing slightly uncomfortable as she adjusted her skirt.

She wore a sleek, black textured mini blazer dress with a plunging neckline and matching mini skirt. She completed the look with sheer black stockings and classic black stiletto heels, and opted for soft glam to finish the polished and stylish ensemble.

"Welcome back! It's always great to see you," Fallon began. "Oh God," Johnson responded as she adjusted the skirt of her dress and chuckled awkwardly. Noticing her discomfort, Fallon asked if she was okay.

"Hey bud, you look fantastic," he told her, to which she promptly replied, "This is the wrong outfit." Johnson continued to cover her chest and pull down her dress as they spoke, her remarks drawing laughs from the audience and the host.

"No, no, I think it's perfect, you look great," he reassured her. "Thanks," Johnson said sheepishly. "Just don't move," Fallon joked.

The "50 Shades of Gray" star also kept the joke going, telling the "Taxi Driver" actor, "My eyes are up here."

Fallon's head shot up, as he confessed, "I can't even look there. I don't know what to do. I'm confused." He then diverted the conversation to the last time the pair spoke, which was at the SNL 50th Anniversary special in February.

Johnson kept her answers short and deadpan, drawing more giggles from the audience. She continued to try and keep the plunging neckline in place as the conversation continued, and eventually told Fallon, "Tell me if there's a problem."

"Right now, there's not a problem. There's almost a problem — but not quite," he said. Johnson then adjusted her posture and went on to ask, "Does anyone have a blanket I could wear?"

Though she says she's kidding, Fallon hands her a napkin, which she places on her chest. "That's perfect, no one will even know the difference," he said.

The pair have a laugh about it, and Johnson hands the napkin back to Fallon, who then declares, "I'm putting this on eBay this evening!"
