Speculation surrounding a rift between Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham and his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, continues to gain attention, with a new report from People alleging the discord began at the couple's wedding in 2022.

According to the report, the issue reportedly stemmed from an unexpected moment during what was meant to be the couple's first dance. Marc Anthony, a longtime friend of the Beckhams, had offered to perform at the wedding as a gift. However, what followed reportedly caught the bride and guests off guard.

"Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, 'The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up...Victoria Beckham!'" a source told People.

A second source described the atmosphere in the room following the announcement as stunned and silent. "It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop," the source revealed.

Victoria then reportedly took to the dance floor with her son without hesitation. During the moment, Nicola was said to have abruptly exited the room in tears. "Everyone saw Nicola run from the room, crying," the source claimed.

Despite the reported tension, Brooklyn and Nicola have made attempts to maintain cordial relations with David and Victoria. However, the strain appears to persist.

Most recently, Brooklyn posted a heartfelt tribute to Nicola on Instagram, implying that he'd always choose her, writing: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby❤️❤️ [sic]."

Notably, Brooklyn and Nicola were absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in London earlier in May, an event attended by numerous celebrities. Their absence added to speculation about ongoing family tensions.
