The couple was seen leaving a New York City hotel restaurant after wrapping up date night. The sighting comes amid divorce rumors, which surfaced after the former First Lady stepped back from the spotlight for several months.

In photos shared online, Michelle can be seen beaming as she heads toward their waiting transport, a black SUV. She wore a black, layered midi dress featuring ruffled tiers and sheer sleeves.

The mom of two paired the outfit with sleek black slingback heels, a black clutch, statement earrings, and chunky silver bracelets, finishing the look with a low ponytail.

Barack followed behind her, donning an all-black ensemble, featuring a tailored black blazer over a dark shirt and matching black trousers. Contrary to Michelle's apparent joyful mood, however, the former president wore a more pensive facial expression.

The appearance marks their first in six months as rumors of a looming divorce have been swirling on social media—prompted by Michelle's absence at several high-profile events, including former president Jimmy Carter's funeral and President Trump's inauguration.

She addressed the speculation during an interview on "The Diary of a CEO" podcast earlier this month. "If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it," the businesswoman said at the time.

Despite the challenges she and Barack admittedly face like any other married couple, she said she "wouldn't trade" her person. In other interviews, Michelle also explained that her recent absences were more about prioritizing her overall well-being and reclaiming her life.
