Schumer, dressed in a black midi dress and black heels, carried a book as she posed briefly before entering the venue through a back door. Her appearance drew praise from fans online. "She is so pretty and funny, love her figure❤️🙌🔥," one fan wrote. "She is adorable 🥰 and vavavoooom! That dress! Amazing!" another added. A third commented, "Looking great, Amy🌹."

While Schumer seemed to be posing innocently for photos, speculation emerged that Schumer was parodying Hilaria Baldwin. The latter was previously photographed carrying her book in a conspicuous pose for photographers, and Schumer decided to poke fun at it.

Fans made sure to comment about it, making it clear that they understood the reference. "LOL WITH THE BOOK!!!! Just like HILARIA 💀💀💀💀" a fan noted. "Was that [Amy Schumer] being [Hilaria Baldwin] #CandidBookMomentCaptured [sic]" a second fan asked. "I need more Hilaria Baldwin mockery in my life 👏" another said.

In the book, Baldwin mentions an unnamed celebrity who she says criticized her and her family in a show, and tried to "bait" them on social media.

Although she does not identify the individual, the remarks appear to allude to Schumer, who previously mocked Baldwin, saying she "pretended to be from Spain" on her Netflix special "Emergency Contact."
