The country music star recently picked up crocheting as a new hobby and proudly shares her progress on social media. She also crochets while getting ready at work.

Carrie Underwood rocked a crochet tomato top paired with boyfriend jeans and red sneakers while on the "American Idol" set on May 5, 2025.

The "Before He Cheats" hitmaker shared a series of photos showing off her look on Instagram and disclosed more details about the top:

"I just kept it really simple and added a ruffle at the bottom. Now what should I make?"

Underwood isn't only wearing her hand-made products to work. Before her recent uploads, the singer shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her being prepped for "American Idol."

The Grammy Award winner, who is a judge on the show, posted a photo of her glam team getting her ready and she could also be seen immersed in crocheting while sitting on a chair.

In addition to her creative homemade tomato top, Underwood recently shared a picture of a bag she made on her Instagram Stories. She loved how it turned out and expressed pride in her efforts, "I'm pretty proud!" Fans say that the Oklahoma-born native is in her "Granny era."
