Prince Louis’ Sweet Moments with His Dad on VE Day

The Royal Family kicked off VE Day celebrations on Sunday last week. Prince Louis was present alongside his mother, his siblings, and his father, Prince William.

May 8, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day, which commemorates the end of the Second World War in Europe. The holiday's events began on May 4, 2025, with celebrations honoring Denmark's liberation.

On May 5, the King and Queen were joined by other Royal Family members, the Prime Minister, and World War II veterans as they watched a military procession down The Mall to the Palace.

Prince Louis sat with his brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte; his mother, Princess Catherine; and his father, Prince William, who donned a military uniform.

During the procession, the young royal was pictured dusting off his father's military jacket in an effort to keep him looking sharp.

The pair were photographed interacting frequently during the march, even sharing a laugh at one point.

Prince Louis was also pictured holding a fuzzy brown hot water bottle. Temperatures in London are said to have plummeted during the week, dipping as low as 14 degrees Celsius.

Following the procession, King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted a Tea Party for World War II veterans and members of that generation at Buckingham Palace.
