Speaking on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, the 61-year-old said he dropped from 277 pounds (126 kg) to just over 222 pounds (100.9 kg). Crowe credited his transformation to reduced alcohol consumption and treatment for long-standing injuries.
He explained that he now limits his drinking to special occasions and opts for quality over quantity — choosing a good glass of wine rather than casual, frequent drinks.
Beyond lifestyle changes, Crowe is also addressing physical pain. He shared that injections for arthritic injuries in his shoulders and knees have significantly reduced inflammation, helping him feel more mobile and less weighed down.
Despite taking the process slowly, Crowe told Rogan he's pleased with the progress. Fans reacted quickly to the actor's transformation online. "He looks great," one person wrote, while another added, "One of the best actors 😍."
