Keira Knightley Seen with 'Neck Ruffle' Dress at 'The Woman in Cabin 10' Premiere
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actress stepped on the red carpet in a high-neck dress that had the internet divided.

On September 25, 2025, Keira Knightley attended the premiere of her newest film, "The Woman in Cabin 10," at BAFTA Piccadilly in London, England. Her outfit choice was quickly scrutinized online, with some people asking for more and others questioning her taste.

Knightley chose a full-length, sleeveless mustard-yellow dress by Designer Erdem Moralıoğlu. It featured embroidered patterns across the fabric with flower and leaf motifs in pale green, silver, and white.
But the standout parts of the ensemble were the high neckline with ruffled white lace and the thin brown leather belt cinching her waist.

As pictures of the night surfaced online, netizens began sharing their opinions. Some weren't sure what to think of it, writing, "Weird neck line."
Others thought some parts of the dress had issues. "Absolutely love the dress but I could do without the ruffle," one Redditor opined. Another added, "I love that belt! I really like this look on her, but my eye keeps going to the weird fit in the chest area."

One netizen expressed, "Are we all looking at the same fit? The embroidery on the chest and bodice cause the fit to look off. The frill around her neck is super weird, and the black shoes with a warm brown belt is throwing the whole thing off. On a positive note, her hair and makeup looks beautiful [sic]!"
However, many loved the look. "She looks so stunning. The collar of the dress reminds me of thosw collars on Elizabethan dresses. I need Keira in an Elizabethan show/film. Anywho thw dress is gorgeoussss as well [sic]," someone wrote.

Another fan commented, "Fitting is a tiny bit off in the chest but I really like this. Sort of medieval with the high collar and embroidery and the color is really nice on her. I kind of want her hair tucked behind her ears [sic]."
Knightley's new film is based on the novel by Ruth Ware, where a journalist called Lo is assigned to work on a story on an expensive yacht.
During her stay, she witnessed someone being thrown overboard, but every other passenger remained accounted for, and others tried to tell her she didn't see anything. Lo has to do her best to uncover and expose the truth.
