In July, Kristin Cabot, an executive in the tech industry, was filmed on a "kiss cam" embracing Andy Byron, then-CEO of Astronomer. Both were reportedly married at the time. The footage quickly circulated online and drew widespread attention.
Kristin has since filed for divorce. A spokeswoman for Andrew confirmed that the separation was already in motion before the concert. "They were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert," she told People. She added that the couple's decision to divorce "was already underway prior to that evening."
The statement added that Andrew hoped the divorce filing would bring an end to speculation and give his family the privacy they valued. The spokeswoman emphasized that there would be no additional comments made publicly. Representatives for Kristin have not yet responded to requests for comment.
