Fergie Celebrates Son Axl Jack’s Birthday with Sweet Tribute
The "Just Can't Get Enough" singer, who shares her son with ex-husband Josh Duhamel, took to social media last week to mark her only child's special day.
Fergie is a proud mom. On Friday, August 29, the musician took to Instagram to celebrate her son Axl Jack's 12th birthday. She posted a series of Axl's childhood photos and videos alongside a touching message.
"Axl Jack, the preteen," Fergie began. "I am so proud to see how independent you're becoming and what a kind human you are. Discovering everything you're into and watching you grow brings such joy… I feel so lucky to be your mom. Happy 12th birthday punks! I love you."
From the carousel, Axl appears to be a big sports fan. Fergie shared a photo of him at a baseball game, clad in a gray Los Angeles Dodgers jersey. The singer also included a picture of the preteen beaming while holding a surfboard.
In another, Axl is captured mid-kick during a soccer game. Shortly after his mom's post, his father, Josh Duhamel, also shared a sweet tribute and a glimpse at the festivities. "Happy 12th birthday to my buddy boy Axl Jack," Josh wrote on Saturday, August 30.
"We had a blast at Legoland today. Thank you for making these the best 12 years of my life, kid. I love you," he added. Alongside his caption were photos from their trip to the theme park, where Axl's pals also tagged along.
