Kevin Costner Steps Out with Son Cayden in Santa Barbara
The "Yellowstone" star enjoyed a casual day out with his teen son over the weekend. The sighting comes just days after it was announced that he is to receive a distinguished honor.
Kevin Costner spent some quality time with his 18-year-old son, Cayden Wyatt Costner. The two were spotted enjoying lunch together on Saturday, August 9, at The Nugget in Summerland, Santa Barbara.

For the outing, Cayden sported a black T-shirt with small white print on the chest, green camouflage shorts, and beige sneakers with white socks. He appeared calm and collected as he trailed behind his dad with his hands in his pockets.
Kevin also opted for a relaxed style, wearing a white short-sleeve knit polo shirt, light beige pants, and white sneakers with tan accents. He accessorized with sunglasses, and was pictured smoking a cigarette with his phone and car keys in hand as he and Cayden left the restaurant.
The "Dances with Wolves" star's appearance comes after the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) announced that he was this year's recipient of the Eva Monley Award. Kevin will be presented with the honor at the LMGI Awards ceremony on August 23, 2025.
The Eva Monley award recognizes an individual who has made exceptional contributions to the art of filmmaking through their commitment to incorporating real locations in their craft. Previous recipients include directors Steven Spielberg and David Yates.

"Kevin Costner has long understood that locations are more than scenery — they are storytelling tools that shape the emotional and visual language of a film," LMGI President John Rakich said in a statement.
"His commitment to authenticity and his deep respect for the craft makes him a perfect recipient of the Eva Monley Award. We're honored to celebrate his legacy and his ongoing contributions to the art of filmmaking," he added.
