Sophie Turner Claps Back at Critic Who Claimed She 'Forgot' About Her Two Kids

Sophie Turner isn't letting a parenting jab slide, firing back at a critic who suggested she'd "forgotten" about her two daughters after posting photos enjoying some time with a friend.

Sophie Turner is shutting down criticism about her parenting. The "Game of Thrones" star responded to a social media user who claimed she had "forgotten" about her two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, whom she shares with ex-husband Joe Jonas.

The comment came after Turner posted a series of photos from an Oasis concert on Instagram on August 4, 2025. One user wrote, "Lmfao, I think she has forgotten that she has two kids. [sic]"

Turner, 29, quickly fired back, saying, "Ah I'm so sorry sometimes I forget some people can't think for themselves," she replied. "So…Get this…There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day."

Turner and Jonas, who married in 2019, went through a highly publicized split in 2023, including a custody dispute that was resolved in October of that year. Under the agreement, the pair share custody of their daughters.

Although Turner and Jonas now maintain a cooperative co-parenting arrangement, the actress has previously been candid about the emotional toll of their split. She once expressed heartbreak over her children being the "collateral damage" of the divorce, which played out in the media amid their custody dispute.
