Brandi Glanville Shows Facial Burns After Using Nair in an Attempt to Kill Facial Parasite
The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum shared the alarming results of her at-home beauty hack—and named her alleged facial parasite after one of her co-stars on the show.
Brandi Glanville shared an update on her journey with her stress-induced angioedema diagnosis in a TikTok video on Sunday, August 3. In the clip, the TV personality has visible chemical burns on her face from her cheekbones to her chin.

"Okay guys, I'm getting back to you because I don't know how to do TikTok, and I know I look attractive," she began. "So, good news, you guys don't have to spend a lot of money on peels and lasers anymore."
Glanville explained that she decided to put Nair, a hair removal cream, on her face because "it pisses Caroline off or whoever's living in my face." The 52-year-old was referencing the supposed parasite in her face, whom she named after her "Real Housewives" co-star, Caroline Manzo.

After applying Nair, Glanville said the parasite moved up to her forehead, which remained untouched by the cream. "So, Nair, is the fountain of youth. I figured it out, but I overdid it," she admitted.
The former model encouraged her viewers to try using Nair, but advised against leaving it on for more than seven minutes, as she did. The video sparked concern in the comments section, with fans urging her to go to the ER.
Glanville has been dealing with facial disfigurement for the past two years, beginning in July 2023. Around that time, she was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, a condition that causes severe facial swelling.
But after a year and a half of numerous treatments and tests, with little improvement, Glanville now suspects that she contracted a parasite during a trip to Morocco.
