HR Executive in Coldplay Cheating Scandal Is Reportedly Married into Prominent Boston Family
The HR executive caught in a viral Coldplay cheating scandal is reportedly tied to one of New England's oldest and wealthiest families through marriage.
Kristin Cabot, the HR executive who became the focus of intense online scrutiny after being caught on a jumbotron at Coldplay's Boston concert, is reportedly married into one of New England's storied old-money families.
Cabot is currently on leave from her role as Chief People Officer at the data company Astronomer, but social media posts suggest she is married to Andrew Cabot, owner of Privateer Rum and a direct descendant of the brand's 18th-century founder, also named Andrew Cabot.
Andrew Cabot identifies as the sixth-generation heir to the rum enterprise, which traces its roots back to the American Revolution. A New York Times profile from 1972 estimated the extended Cabot family's wealth at $200 million— a sum that would equate to roughly $15.4 billion in today's dollars.
The exact date of Kristin and Andrew's marriage remains unclear, though it appears to be at least the second marriage for both. Public records indicate that Kristin finalized a divorce back in 2022.
Before deactivating her LinkedIn profile, Kristin listed herself as an "advisory board member" at Privateer Rum beginning in September 2020.
In addition to their business ties, property records show the couple purchased a $2.2 million coastal home in New Hampshire earlier this year.
