Khloe Kardashian on Why She No Longer ‘Heavily’ Photoshops Her Pictures
The reality TV star spoke about her decision during a recent episode of her podcast, which she dedicated to addressing rumors about herself and her family.
Khloé Kardashian set the record straight in her latest "Khloé in Wonderland" episode, published on Wednesday, July 16. The media personality had her team search for the most prominent rumors and conspiracies about herself and her family, which she discussed on the show.

These ranged from bizarre claims—like her family having clones stored in Calabasas or being reptilians—to the myth that her sister Kim Kardashian has six toes. As the episode progressed, she landed on a rumor directed at her, which stated: "You Photoshop all the photos you post."
"I don't. But there was a time that I definitely did. There was a time that I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to," Khloé responded.
She continued, "I also think it was the era too. I felt like a lot of people were Photoshopping or heavily Photoshopping more than they do now. I do feel like there was a time that we all just got consumed in this filter lifestyle and we couldn't see ourselves without a filter."
The 41-year-old admitted that there are still days where she "doesn't feel good" about herself and "needs a filter." She also shared that she prefers how she looks in videos compared to still images.
"But I will say there was a time that I heavily Photoshopped—I wouldn't dare post a photo without heavily Photoshopping. And, in hindsight, when I look back at those photos, it's a cartoon character. And it's humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself," she said.
Khloé also revealed that she often received her photos after they were already Photoshopped and, at the time, she genuinely believed that’s how she looked. "And if I got paparazzied, I'd be like, 'I don't look like that. I look like this photo,'" she said.
Eventually, she reached a point where she realized she needed to "reprogram" her mind and "lay off the filters."
