Barbra Streisand Shares Heartwarming Throwback for Wedding Anniversary

The longtime songstress marked her 27th wedding anniversary with her husband, Jame Brolin, with a sweet, reminiscent post earlier this week. It comes shortly after the release of her new album.

Barbra Streisand took a walk down memory lane on Wednesday, July 2. The actress shared a photo from the early days of her romance with her husband, James, in honor of their wedding anniversary.

"We met on a blind date 29 years ago tonight, and we married 27 years ago today. I love you honey. B xo. ❤️," she captioned the post. In the image, Barbra is seen leaning on James' chest with a smile as the actor wrapped his arm around her

The pair were attending the 69th Annual Academy Awards in 1997, which marked one of their earliest red carpet appearances as a couple. As Barbra noted in her caption, they had met the previous year. She and James have been going strong ever since.

"We were set up as a blind date, and I was so shy that I came into the house and I went downstairs to be with the children and play with them until I had to sit down at the table," Barbra recalled on The Tonight Show in 2021.

Her anniversary tribute comes shortly after she released her album, "The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume 2," on June 27.

The musical project features star-studded collaborations with various artists, including Paul McCartney, Hozier, Tim McGraw, Bob Dylan, and more. The singer included her husband in the album's promotion.
