Sofia Vergara Appears to Confirm Romance with Douglas Chabbott in Italy

The "Modern Family" alum first sparked romance rumors with the young businessman in May, after they were spotted spending time together in France on several occasions.

Sofia Vergara is having the time of her life in Rome with her rumored beau, Douglas Chabbott. The pair were spotted leaving a restaurant after enjoying a date night in the Italian city.

In images obtained by E! Online, Chabbott picked up the 52-year-old in a romantic embrace as he kissed her cheek while she beamed in his arms. Afterward, the two reportedly headed to a hotel together.

In the photos, Vergara — who was previously married to Joe Manganiello — donned a figure-hugging black dress with thin straps and bold floral print, paired with black strappy stilettos.

She wore her hair down, kept her accessories minimal, and carried a dark green clutch. Chabbott opted for a relaxed look for the evening, wearing a light blue button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, paired with beige trousers.

While Vergara hasn't opened up about their rumored romance, she has appeared with Chabbott publicly on a few occasions and even posted him on social media.

In May, the actress seemed to playfully call out Chabbott after restaurant staff came to their table with sparklers singing "Happy Birthday." When she realized what was happening, Vergara held up her middle fingers at the camera before dancing along.

"Respect me @dougchabbott 😂😂😂😂," she captioned the post. A few days later, they made their first public appearance at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix alongside Vergara's son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara.
