Cher, 79, made a rare red carpet appearance on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Tribeca Film Festival, where "My Mom Jayne: A Film by Mariska Hargitay" debuted. Cher attended the premiere looking radiant in a cropped leather jacket featuring cartoon-inspired graphics on the sleeves, wide-leg black pants with white side stripes, and open-toed black heels.

She completed the look with bold pink eyeshadow and matching lip gloss, while her signature long dark hair was styled in soft curls with thick bangs framing her face.

Cher posed for photos alongside Hargitay, 61, showing her support for the actress and director as she premiered the documentary. The film explores the life and legacy of Hargitay's mom, Jayne Mansfield, a 1950s Hollywood icon who died in a 1967 car crash. Hargitay, who was three years old at the time, survived the accident.

The premiere marked a significant moment for Hargitay, who has described the project as both a tribute and a way to connect more deeply with the mother she lost at such a young age.
