Gigi and Bella Hadid Acknowledge Their Half-Sister in Public Statement

Gigi and Bella Hadid have publicly recognized their half-sister, Aydan Nix, in a rare joint statement, marking the first time the supermodels have addressed her existence since discovering their connection.

In an exclusive statement to DailyMail released on May 29, 2025, Gigi and Bella Hadid confirmed that they have a 23-year-old half-sister, Aydan Nix, the daughter of their father Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Dull.

According to the report, Aydan was born following a brief relationship between Mohamed and Terri after his divorce from Yolanda Hadid.

The Hadid sisters shared that Aydan was raised in Florida and grew up with the man she "lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19." Following his death, Aydan took a genetic test, "out of curiosity," that confirmed her biological connection to the Hadid family.

"We first connected in late 2023, and from that moment on, we've embraced Aydan with open arms," the sisters said in their statement.

Despite acknowledging her publicly, the Hadid sisters emphasized that their relationship with Aydan has remained a private matter. "Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that. We kindly ask others to do the same and honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York," the statement continued.

Aydan recently completed her degree at Parsons School of Design in New York City and is said to be pursuing her own path. She and her dad, Mohamed, and her sister Gigi follow one another on Instagram.
