Jennifer Aniston has finally addressed the media storm that engulfed her split from Brad Pitt, recalling the relentless coverage and public fascination with what became one of Hollywood's most infamous "love triangles."

Jennifer Aniston, appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair, reflected on one of the most scrutinized chapters of her life — her divorce from Brad Pitt.

At the time, the breakup was not just a celebrity split but a cultural flashpoint. In early 2005, Pitt and Aniston announced the end of their five-year marriage, a shock to fans who had long considered them one of Hollywood's golden couples.

Only months later, speculation intensified when Pitt was photographed with his "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star Angelina Jolie, fueling rumors that their on-screen chemistry had spilled over into real life.

The timing, along with the high profiles of everyone involved, created a perfect storm for the emerging era of 24/7 celebrity coverage. Gossip blogs gained massive traffic by posting daily updates, often laced with biting commentary. Tabloids splashed grainy paparazzi shots across covers, framing the story as an ongoing saga.

Aniston herself refers to that period as "the love triangle," a phrase that became shorthand for the media narrative surrounding the trio. Looking back, she summed up her approach to surviving the tabloid firestorm, saying, "Just pick yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on walking, girl."

For the public, the story was irresistible. "It was such juicy reading for people. If they didn't have their soap operas, they had their tabloids," she said. But for Aniston, the media fixation was deeply personal. "It's a shame that it had to happen, but it happened. And boy did I take it personally."

Admittedly, Aniston endured a difficult period following her divorce. "It was also such a vulnerable time. But yeah, that was one for the memoirs," she disclosed.

In the years that followed, Pitt and Jolie publicly confirmed their relationship and went on to marry in 2014 before divorcing in 2016. Aniston, meanwhile, rebuilt her life and career, continuing to work steadily in both television and film.

Yet the "love triangle" remains a pop culture touchstone — a reminder of how celebrity breakups can be transformed into public spectacles in the internet age, and how those caught in the center must navigate the fallout in real time.
