Kim Kardashian Remembers Late Friend Lindsay May in Heartfelt Tribute
The media personality took to Instagram to remember her childhood friend — an entertainment consultant who died of cancer earlier this year — in honor of her birthday.
On Sunday, July 6, Kim Kardashian posted a carousel of memories she shared with her late friend, Lindsey May, who was a part of her "Lifers" group of childhood friends. Alongside the photos and clips, she penned a heartfelt letter addressed to Lindsey.

"It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz 💜🦋," Kim began in her caption. "I waited months to post this, mostly because I couldn't find the right words."
"Nothing really captures how quiet and empty our lifers chat feels without you in it," she lamented. The other Lifers, who appear in the images and videos, include Allison Statter, Zoe Winkler, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Ashley Kassan and Simone Harouche.

"I know you'd probably roll your eyes at me posting anything — especially since you didn't really even have social media — but I couldn't go through this lake trip without feeling you everywhere, and I needed to share it," Kim continued.
"The lake was your happy place. It made you feel lighter, healthier… you were you. It'll always be our favorite lifers tradition because it's where we spend time with all of our kids being together and get real time with each other without any outside noise. We felt your absence this year in every sunset, every laugh, every quiet moment," she shared.

Looking back, the SKIMS founder said she feels grateful for the memories they made. "Our world is not the same without you. I guess that's why I hold onto this lake tradition so tightly. We'll always have the lake — and in that, we'll always have a piece of you. 💜🦋," she concluded.
Kim confirmed Lindsey's passing in an Instagram Stories post reported by E! Online. She shared that their friend, Simone, had started a fundraiser with Citizens of Humanity selling jeans called "The Lindz."
She reportedly stated that $50 from each pair sold would be donated to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation.
