Timothée Chalamet Appears to Have Shaved His Head for Upcoming Movie Project
Timothée Chalamet may have attempted to keep a low profile in Saint-Tropez, but his concealed haircut has sparked speculation that he's undergone a dramatic transformation for his upcoming role in "Dune: Messiah."
Timothée Chalamet, 29, was spotted in Saint-Tropez on Monday, July 7, 2025, with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, sparking speculation that the actor has shaved his head. His new look is likely in preparation for "Dune: Messiah," the next installment in Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi franchise.

The actor concealed his head under a Nike baseball cap fastened with a green bandana tied beneath his chin. The strategic covering fueled rumors that Chalamet has parted with his signature curls ahead of filming, which is reportedly set to begin this week in Budapest.

Chalamet's outfit also drew attention. He wore a green-and-white Nigerian soccer jersey and accessorized with a $40,000 diamond Cartier pendant.
Jenner, 27, coordinated the outing in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier cone-bra mini dress and black sunglasses as the pair joined her sister Kendall Jenner and friends for a beachside getaway.
The couple, who have been dating for over two years, made their red carpet debut at the David di Donatello Awards in Rome this past May.

Though Chalamet has yet to confirm his hairstyle transformation, but publications familiar with the "Dune" series note that a shaved head would align with Paul Atreides' evolving arc in "Dune: Messiah," which picks up after the events of "Dune: Part Two."
