Brooke Burns Pays Tribute to Late Ex-husband Julian McMahon

The game show host took to Instagram to remember her former spouse and father of her only child over the weekend, following the news of his sudden passing.

Brooke Burns shared a short but moving tribute in honor of her ex-husband, Julian McMahon, on Saturday, July 5. The "Charmed" actor died on Wednesday, July 2, after a quiet battle with cancer in Clearwater, Florida.

Brooke posted a photo of Julian and their daughter, Madison McMahon, smiling cheek to cheek as they posed for the picture. "Rest in peace," she wrote over the image, leaving a heartbroken emoji in the caption.

Brooke and Julian were married from 1999 to 2001. They welcomed Madison, now 25, in 2000. The model is now married to director and screenwriter Gavin O'Connor and has been since 2013.

Julian also wed Kelly McMahon (née Paniagua) in July 2014. Kelly confirmed Julian's passing and the cause of his death in a statement to Deadline on Friday, July 4.

"With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer," she told the publication.

She continued, "Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy."

"And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories," she concluded.
