Caitlyn Jenner’s Friend and Manager Sophia Hutchins Dies at 29
The businesswoman died in a tragic accident on Wednesday on the same road where the reality TV star lives. The pair had known each other and worked together since 2015.
Sophia Hutchins was involved in a car accident while driving an ATV on Wednesday, July 3, 2025, near Caitlyn Jenner's home in Malibu. She was pronounced dead that morning.

TMZ cited law enforcement and family sources, reporting that Hutchins struck the bumper of a moving vehicle carrying two individuals. The impact forced her ATV over the shoulder, sending it 350 feet into a ravine.
Emergency personnel were dispatched and pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene. No one else was harmed during the collision. It's unknown if Jenner was home at the time of the incident. The media personality has yet to speak on the death of her manager.

The pair met in 2015 shortly after Jenner announced she was transitioning. Hutchins would go on to appear in several episodes of Jenner's docuseries "I Am Cait" that same year. She also served as CEO and director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation.
She once spoke of her relationship with Jenner, as the two shared a close bond. "We have so much in common; we see the world so similarly and we both are such a good match for each because we challenge each other," she told Jim Breslo on "The Hidden Truth" in 2018.

"She challenges me in so many ways, has allowed me to grow in so many ways and I hope I challenge her to grow and I think because we share so many of the same passions and views, it’s just a great match, a great partnership," she said.
