Selena Gomez Gets Sweet ‘Surprise’ from Benny Blanco After the Emmys
The "Only Murders in the Building" actress made her official red carpet debut with her fiancé at the 2025 Emmys, and came home to find he had prepared a grand romantic gesture.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco made their first official red carpet appearance as a couple at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday evening, September 14. Following the eventful night, Blanco had something special planned for the "Same Old Love" singer.

Gomez gave fans a glimpse of her fiancé's romantic gesture in a recap Instagram carousel of the evening's events. The carousel began with a few snaps from her first red carpet moment with her beau.

She then followed up with a photo of herself posing with her arms stretched out in front of a pool lined with large glass candles, flickering in the night. The 33-year-old wore a gray Louis Vuitton ruched gown with her hair styled into a sleek bun, and walked barefoot.

In another frame, she captured the romantic scene in a short clip with a dimmed, retro camera filter. Gomez also included pictures with her "Only Murders in the Building" family at an afterparty. The comedy-drama series was nominated for seven awards.
"Grateful for all these people forever and always. Came home to a surprise my baby put together ☺️," Gomez wrote in her caption. Blanco sweetly replied in the comments section, writing, "I win an award every night (you)."
