Jennifer Lopez’s Platinum Blonde Locks Have Fans Mistaking Her for Gwen Stefani

The "Out of Sight" actress gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her role in her upcoming musical film, "Kiss of the Spider Woman" — for which she transformed into a blonde starlet.

The much-anticipated release of "Kiss of the Spider Woman" is just weeks away, and Jennifer Lopez is feeling nostalgic. The 56-year-old actress recently took to Instagram to give her followers a glimpse of the behind the scenes.

She shared photos of herself in costume as Aurora, the film's lead character, with her platinum blonde curls styled up with a blush-pink headband. She was wrapped in a cozy cream robe and beamed at the camera with her hands placed on her chest.

In another shot, this time on set, Lopez lounged in a vintage-style bathtub while holding up a fashion sketch of a woman in a pink gown, with more sketches spread across a tray in front of her.

"Stepping into the role of Aurora felt like dancing through the golden age of cinema … with all the glitz, glamour, and a whole lot of dancing," she wrote in her caption. "Stepping back into time has never been so much fun. ✨"

While the comments section quickly filled with compliments from excited fans, many couldn't help but note her resemblance to Gwen Stefani. "Thought this was Gwen Stefani at first glance!" one netizen exclaimed.

"Thought it was Gwen Stefani," another echoed the observation. "Love the blonde✨🤍 #gwenstefanivibes," a third added.

"What in the Gwen Stefani is this?" a fourth netizen asked. Even Natasha Bedingfield saw the momentary resemblance. "Omg you look like @gwenstefani Love you sis," the "Pocketful of Sunshine" singer wrote. "Kiss of the Spider Woman" hits theaters on October 10.
